Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) is an agency constituted under the Ministry of Power, Government of India. The objective of BEE India is energy and cost saving. The Government has made it imperative for a few notified items to have star ratings and labels which specify the energy saving performance of the product and help the customers in making the perfect selection before purchasing such product. Higher star rating means higher energy saving.



How to get BEE Registration in India?

The manufacturer(s) have to complete the testing and documentation required by BEE India in order to certify the product with BEE Star Rating.

Important Information - BEE Registration

Registration Process

Following steps are required:

Ø  Submit the sample(s) and technical documents to NABL accredited lab for Testing and get the test report.

Ø  Compile the necessary documents and register Brand on BEE portal along with online remittance of the Security deposit fee.

Ø  Submit the hard copy of application with all enclosures to BEE duly signed by Authorized Signatory.

Ø  If BEE seeks clarification and additional information, furnish the same.

Ø  On approval of Brand / Company Registration, BEE will activate the link for model registration.

Ø  Fill-up the online Application Form.

Ø  Compile the necessary information and documents and upload the same to BEE portal.

Ø  Make the online payment of model registration fee to BEE.

Ø  Submit the hard copy of application with all enclosures duly signed by Authorized Signatory along with Specimen of BEE Label, as applicable.

Ø  If BEE seeks clarification and additional information, furnish the same.

Ø  When BEE is satisfied, it approves the application and grants the permission to affix the label.
